My name is Claire and I started working in Architecture and then Publishing and Design.  

In 1998 I gave up work to start a family and whilst off work decided to return to college to pursue my life long love of photography.  I launched my own photography business in 2011.  Before long, clients were requesting I cover their weddings so I teamed up with a friend Karen taking on a dual approach to the wedding format and have never looked back.  

My business partner left Littlebox and i decided to continued my journey of photography alone enlisting the help of my wonderful daughters Hannah and Carla when required.  

Covid came along and things went quite for a little while I continued with my other passion working with children as a Nursery Practitioner and now I specialise in Children's Photography, Weddings and Christenings. 

Carla and Hannah are Architects and sometimes join me when assistance is required and both have a wonderful eye for photography. 

My aim is to capture natural, beautiful images.  I shoot informal observations in order to tell the story of your day.  I prefer a candid, unobtrusive approach rather than staging anything but of course I am happy to cover some more formal group shots, if you would like them.

I tend to shoot without flash as I prefer the quality of natural light.  I am constantly looking for pictures that capture the emotion, personalities, special moments and the details of your day, striving to shoot those unnoticed glimpses as well as the more obvious ones.  I offer a calm, friendly professional approach.

Shooting with my daughter enables me to have more creative freedom. It allows us to be in two places at one time, to see things from different angles, shoot from different perspectives and use different creative approaches yet still managing to keep a low profile!  I would love to set up a pre-wedding consultation, free of charge, to meet you, have a chat and for you to determine whether I would be the right photographer for you.
